were walking through the park to your house It always seems so far On these late summer nights after the bars close their doors and the people go home to comfortable beds but tonight I’m sleeping on your floor you grab a cigarette and stare at the sky your eyes look tired and you let out a sigh the culmination of too much beer and contemplation for a Saturday night we sit out on a bench, straining our eyes to see some stars up, in the sky but most are blocked out by the light pollution, she says I think ive got a solution out here it feels much better i feel so alive, its how it should be, til the day we die instead of trudging it out in jobs that we hate working nine to five and dinner by eight and you say and every man a king every girl a queen and everyone will be happy with everything I've been out here two months now on the road and time passes oh, so fast lose direction no friend to maps towns, cities and people blur past

Every time I fall apart The pieces of a broken heart swelling a size disproportionate to the laws of my body so I do whatever comes natural sit out and let the climate change drinking at bars smoking cigars, because im scared of rain I’ve been sitting out for hours With a paper and pen Wracking my brain, shuffling through notes Trying to capture lighting again I’m always scared to lose momentum One day off and its all done constantly haunted by memories of when this used to be fun. stories come and stories go out here on the road some things just come natural to others or so I’ve been told lately ive been surrounded by people that have nothing to say empty thoughs countless fears filling up the bulk of my day but I guess I’m making progress at least that’s how it feels certain thoughts come easier these days but I’ve got a ways to heal.

History 03:10
I got the beat, if you got the habit We’ll take to the street, and see what’s for granted In the overlooked alleyways and Shopping malls relics left from Before the fall of this great city to industrialization a victim of our civilization we were wiped away clean by the hand of acquisition buildings and blocks now a rusty apparition Now we’re left with Our empty streets A mass exodus Sealed our defeat As they packed up their carsTo head out west, More jobs we’re opening As they pressed themselves Into the suburbs And into new lives New jobs for husbands And gossip for wives Slowly removing From where they came Until it becomes just a name on the tip of their tongue but forgetting always finding problems with offsetting the lack of culture they move on it starts again on and on But we’re still here In the folk tradition Picking up pieces In an act of rescission Against time and circumstance Changing our fate always pressing on Trying to create The world how we want it All in all There’s shine in the metal still strength in these walls So if I got the beat and you got the habit We’ll take to the street And see what’s for granted In the overlooked alleyways and Shopping malls, relics left from Before the fall

Cover all the bones in the ground Cover all the bones in the ground None of them will be found None of them will be found We’ve been digging all night and day We’ve been digging all night and day With hands and rocks there through the mud and the clay With our hands and rocks, there is no other way Senescence has made us slow And senescence has made us cold Solitude and fear has taken us by surprise Solitude and fear stole the fire from our eyes We pray god never finds our souls We pray because we ‘re getting old Months confined to a hospital bed Silently battling the demons in your head But nothing more can save us from where we have been lead. I’ll see you all in hell my friends I’ll see you all in hell my friends For we have done something we cannot amend For we have done something we cannot amend An act of compassion I don’t recommend

Are you trying to keep me running Are you trying to keep me running Back to your arms Back to your arms Back to your arms again Fire it burns and smoke it rises The first in a string of surprises Setting off all alarms Setting off all alarms again Crowd has gathered at the scene The accused goes up to speak Calling up on all her charms Calling up on all her charms She gave the most moving speech But the crowd was out of reach For her words to disarm For her words to disarm Falling down to her knees Broken hearted, no way to appease and undo all this harm and undo all this harm Are you trying to keep me running Are you trying to keep me running Back to your arms Back to your arms Back to your arms again
