lyrics

Every time I fall apart
The pieces of a broken heart
swelling a size disproportionate
to the laws of my body

so I do whatever comes natural
sit out and let the climate change
drinking at bars smoking cigars,
because im scared of rain

I’ve been sitting out for hours
With a paper and pen
Wracking my brain, shuffling through notes
Trying to capture lighting again

I’m always scared to lose momentum
One day off and its all done
constantly haunted by memories of
when this used to be fun.

stories come and stories go
out here on the road
some things just come natural
to others or so I’ve been told

lately ive been surrounded by people
that have nothing to say
empty thoughs countless fears
filling up the bulk of my day

but I guess I’m making progress
at least that’s how it feels
certain thoughts come easier these days
but I’ve got a ways to heal.
